filozofia
MOZA is a manufactory designing and producing cement and mosaic tiles. Our objective is to revive this almost forgotten traditional technique dating back to the middle of the 19th century, to preserve the patterns of these traditional tiles for the future generations and to create our own unique style by introducing new patterns and special colour combinations.

Cement tile production is one of those rare crafts where tiles are still hand made, with the same traditional production procedure as in earlier times. This technology, which is based on manual work, gives the floor its atmospheric patina style and unique beauty.

Besides the new tiles, we also have antique, reclaimed cement tiles in stock.
These antique tiles can be combined with tiles produced by the manufactory thus creating special unique floorings.

My name is Szilvi Kauker , I am a young applied artist and have been designing and producing cement tiles since 2006. I studied at the Hungarian University of Art and Design, the Hungarian University of Horticultural Science and the West-Hungarian University and, I produced the first cement tiles in the framework of my diploma piece.
Since 2007, I have the opportunity to continue this activity as a holder of the 'Kozma Lajos' Craft and Design Scholarship. At present, I produce tiles of my own design in my own little manufactory.
